Sustainability through Accountability and Resillience
About Us

“If you lose one battle, don’t give up. Get up again, you have a war to win.”
― Sira Masettiu

The Sustainability Studio believes that Individual, Organisational and Community Resilence and future sustainability is dependent on a determined attitude and enhanced skills and knowledge of these target groups.    Our country ,South Africa, has undergone significant changes in the past few decades – the most significant being the end of the apartheid regime.  As positive as this was, this change has also brought about some significant changes and social complications – which international history over time has shown to be common in countries undergoing major democratic change.

In South Africa individuals, communities and organisations need to cope with high levels of crime and unemployment, the highest incidence of HIV/AIDS, Corruption, very high levels of substance abuse and Gender violence, ineffective education, lack of funding, Scare skills and high levels of poverty- to name a few.
Change and adversity is inevitable. The Sustainability Studio believes that organisations, individuals and communities skills-level and knowledge can be enhanced and developed to enable them to withstand or recover more easily from difficult and adverse conditions.  More importantly – we believe that  these skills and knowledge can be transferred to enable pro-active intervention and action by individuals, communities and organisations.

We assist organisations, individuals and communities to develop a sense of mastery in bringing about postive change - and maintaing the positive change. Just as individuals can learn to develop personal traits of resilience, so too can organizations  and communities develop a culture of resilience.

Our future depends on our ability to adapt and influence positive change.
